The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) received a distress call at 0558 hours on Tuesday, 17th March 2026, reporting a vehicular fire at Gomoa Potsin Junction on the Accra–Winneba Highway. The Apam Fire Station was immediately dispatched to the scene, with support from the Kasoa Fire Station. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a fully developed fire that was rapidly spreading to adjoining structures. Fire personnel swiftly and tactically worked to contain the blaze. The Metropolitan Fire Station in Cape Coast on Wednesday, 11th March 2026 at 1028hrs responded to a road traffic collision at Kotokuraba. The rescue team from the Cape Coast Metro Fire Station arrived at the scene at 1032hrs and observed that a Toyota Echo taxi cab with registration number GW 5934-14 and a Samsung Yamouzine truck with registration number CR 487-18 had been involved in a collision.
