The Cape Coast Metro Chief Imam in-charge of Allu-Sunna Wal Jamal Sheik Mohammed Bashir Mohammed is reminding politicians to honour campaign promises made to the citizens whiles in government to keep their loyalty with the citizens. He is also urging citizens to pray to Allah to touch hearts of leaders of the various countries engaging in US-Isreal-Iran war not to travel far in order not to have adverse impact on our economy. He acknowledged longevity of the war may have negative impact on Ghana’s fragile economy. He ended by pleading with drivers, traders and business people not to take advantage of the war to increase prices of goods and services.
The Mayor of Cape Coast George Justice Arthur used the occasion to call on citizens to pray for leadership of the country to exhibit good leadership to bring the desired development to the country. He also pleaded to pray to Allah to end the wars that are going on in the world to restore peace in the world. He used the occasion to call for partnership and collaboration to successfully implement the eight-year development policy to develop Cape Coast metropolis. He is calling on those in the metropolis to ensure peace in the metropolis.
