The Member of Parliament for Twifo Ati-Morkwa constituency of the Central Region, Hon. David Vondee is made passionate appeal to the NDC members to lower their expectations to be appointed to serve in John Dramani Mahama’s government. He said the scrambled for an appointment into government can really create serious challenges to government and the party’s quest to fulfill their campaign promises to justify massive votes Ghanaians gave the NDC party on the December 7 election. He made the appeal when he appeared on Adom TV Badwam Morning Show monitored by Ghanaba News.Com. Hon. David T. Vondee is also reminding NDC members to remember the sound advice His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II gave to the NPP when President Akufo-Addo paid a courtesy call on him at Manhyia Palace. It will be recalled that Otumfuo told President Akufo-Addo that the people of Ghana voted against then Former President John Mahama out of hunger and anger and they will use same hunger and anger to vote NPP out of power. Hon. David T. Vondee said that is exactly what happened to the NPP because they failed to heed to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II sound advice. He is therefore reminding NDC members not to make such a mistake. They should remember that Ghanaians voted massively against NPP Akufo-Addo-Bawumia led bad government out of hunger and anger. He sees President Elect John Mahama’s promised to work with lean government (sixty) members is already a challenge to him considering the expectation from large number of party members who contributed to the victory. He is therefore appealing to NDC members to lower their expectation on President Elect John Mahama so that he can appoint those who can work to deliver to the good people of Ghana

The Member of Parliament is urging those who will be appointed to serve in John Mahama’s government to bear in mind that they ought to work hard to improve the economy to motivate Ghanaians to deepen their trust for the NDC party. He is cautioning those who may be appointed not to look at how hungry they have been for these past eight years under Akufo-Addo-Bawumia bad led governance to grab wealth and for themselves at the expense of Ghanaian citizens. He is Ghanaians are looking forward that John Mahama will be able to reduce high inflation from the current sixteen Cedi to a dollar will be reduce to ten Cedi to a dollar. He is reminding those who will get appointed to challenge themselves to work hard to improve the economy. He is happy that the election of John Mahama back to office has sent confidence to the international market. He trust John Mahama will assemble qualified hands to work to improve the economy. He once again reminding the appointees that their output will justify whether NDC should be retain in power or not.

David Vondee said the work Ghanaians has entrusted NDC with isn’t easy considering the level of economic destruction Akufo-Addo-Bawumia NPP led administration has cause the country. Though he has the believed that the NDC can turn the things round but he is pleading with Ghanaians to have some level of patience for the President Elect John Mahama and the NDC party whiles they take up government to put things right. He ended by saying that if citizens see positive gains of the economy, they will have patience for John Mahama to fix the economy. The NDC party supporters must not engage in any act of lawlessness to anger voters for them to regret voting the party to power.
