Accidental gunshot from Safohen Kweku Apagya from Amosima community has seriously injured a single mother of two Maame Esi as she joined enthusiastic crowd to witness her uncle Ebusuapanyin Nana Kwesi Egyir’s, Ebusuabahemaa Nana Egyirba II and Nana Supi Kwesi Eghir XIII installation as the head of Anoma Family (Anona Ebusuapanyin) at Amosima a farming community in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District in the Central Region in Ghana. According to Safohen Kweku Apagya, he shots the gun in the air when the procession got to the community shrine (fosubanho) but it failed to shot. Whiles he was latter checking what led to the failure of the gun not firing, suddenly the trigger went off tearing the feet of Maame Esi. The police who were at the function to provide security quickly retrieved the gun and picked Safohen off the scene whiles Maame Esi was rushed to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for treatment.
