A journalist working with Kessben Media Appiah Kubi is calling on the NPP members to blame the Attorney General Godfred Dame for the total massive humiliation the ruling party suffered during Assin North by-election. He didn’t understand what went into the decision by the Attorney General to press charges against the NDC parliamentary candidate at the time the party is going into a crucial by-election. The journalist further said the most useless decision by the Attorney General that broke the “camels back” was the decision to pray the court to hear Gyakye Quayson’s case on daily basis. He cited several serious corruption cases which has led to lost of huge state funds didn’t pre-occupied the minds of the Attorney General to prosecute on daily basis to get back the lost funds back to the state. According to him, if there is any blame game from the NPP members, they shouldn’t directs it to the party executives but instead, it should be directed to the Attorney General Godfred Dame for his unwise decision to press charges against Gyakye Quayson at the peak of Assin North by-election.
