The leadership of Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) has issued strong warning to President Akufo-Addo’s government to pay their over three years accumulated bursary by the end of second quarter 2024. University of Cape Coast GRASAG President Kwabena Agyapong who led the press conference which was held at the University of Cape Coast Campus told the media that refusal to pay their accumulated bursaries is seriously affecting academic works of post graduate students across the country.
Kwabena Agyapong told the Ghanabanews.com that government persistent failure to pay their bursaries has affected their research works of post graduate students across the country.
They also expressed their disappointment about the failure of Ghana Scholarship Secretariat for not opening their portal for all first year post graduates students across the country to register for their bursaries. They are by this press conference knocking at the door of President Akufo-Addo’s government to release their over three years accumulated bursaries by the end of the second quarter else they embarks on huge nationwide demonstration against President Akufo-Addo and his government.
