A non-governmental organization Challenging Height providing buses to convey over one thousand six hundred B.E.C.E. candidates in the Effutu municipality in the Central Region to averts co-habitation and sexual exploitation. According to the Challenging Height Chief Executive Officer DR. JAMES KOFI ANNAN, told Adom News that usually parents who aren’t able to foot transportation bill for their B.E.C.E. candidates sometimes makes arrangement for candidates to co-habit with people during the examination period. These unfortunate candidates sometimes don’t have peaceful mind to write their exams. Those they co-habit especially male foster parents or colleagues exploits them sexually which sometimes result in pregnancies. The organization decided to provide means of transportation to address the challenge. He used the occasion also to urge candidates to learn hard to come out with flying colours, not to engage in examination malpractices and appeal to invigilators not to frightened candidates.
