PROPHET CAUTIONS PREZ AKUFO-ADDO OVER HIGH DOLLAR IMPORT DUTIES-PROPHET AMOAKO FRANCIS ATTA

Apostle Francis Amoako Atta, the Founder and General Overseer of Parliament Chapel International (PCI), has made passionate appeal to President Akufo-Addo to ensure that high Dollar import duties at our ports should be looked at. He is urging President Akufo-Addo to peg import duties to Cedi and not Dollar. He is of the view that, pegging import duties in Dollar value rate has led to price hikes of goods and services in the country. High Dollar import duties at our ports has been criticized by importers across the country. He made the appeal when he visited Cantamanto, one of the largest and olderst market in Accra to pray for God’s intervention for traders as economic hardship in the country is becoming unbearable.
