PRESS RELEASE
The novel COVID-19 Pandemic has been a disturbing issue in recent times affecting the whole World. Schools have been shut and economies are down.
The President of the Republic of Ghana, his Execellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and his government as well as the major stakeholders such as the Ghana Medical Association have put their hands on deck to ensure that they fight this treacherous pandemic.
The Association of Concerned Cape Coast Citizens and Residents (ACCCCAR) recognizes the fact that our frontline health workers in the country are doing so much by putting their own lives and that of their families at stake to fight this battle. The Management and Staff of Cape Coast Teaching Hospital(CCTH) as well as the Regional Health Directorate of Ghana Health Service (GHS) and all the hard working hospital staff in the metropolis have actually stood firm to take the bulls by the horns at a time when all other persons are running for their lives. We say Ayekoo and may God Almighty continue to protect your lives and your loved ones.
ACCCCAR values the work you are doing for mankind and wishes to call on all public-spirited people and organizations to encourage, motivate and inspire you to continue to work as our frontline army against COVID-19. We appreciate the sacrifice that you are making to save lives.
Once again, Ayekoo!!! to all our Frontline health workers within our ancient Capital in the Central Region and beyond.
Long live health workers
Long live Cape Coast
Long live Central Region
Long live Ghana
Long live ACCCCAR
#Let’s fight COVID 19 together#
Signed
George Justice Arthur
General Secretary
