WONTUMI RAN AWAY FROM HUMILIATION AFTER FAILED ASSIN NORTH BY-ELECTION PREDICTION FOR NPP ON LIVE TV

Ashanti Regional NPP chairman Antwi Boasiako known as ‘Chairman Wontumi” who is a known small scale miner and has been allegedly accused of destroying some notable Ghana’s forest by illegally mining in those forest ran away from total humiliation after predicting Assin North by-election win for the New Patriotic Party on live television program. He made the prediction when  election was to come to a close in less than two hours.

It will be recalled that Chairman Wontumi and the New Patriotic Party executives led by their national organizer Henry Nana Boakye stormed Assin North to throw a challenge to the National Democratic Congress after winning Kumawu by-election that they are in the constituency to wrestle the seat from the NDC. NPP national organizer was seen in a video he posted in the company of the Central Regional NPP organizer Anthony Sackey where Nana Boakye boasted of Assin Praso-Assin Foso road which was constructed under the President Akufo-Addo. He threw a challenged to both Central and National NDC executives in the said boastful video to watch out how NPP is determined to take back the seat from them.  The said video really set the challenged game which brought saw entire Akufo-Addo led government and the NPP machinery brought heavily within Assin North. The Central Regional and the National NDC executives also didn’t take battle lightly by accepting the challenge.

The Central Regional NDC Chairman Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu together with his national executives also vowed not to leave the seat for the boastful NPP. He held a press conference to warn the NPP executives not dare try what they did at Kumawu by-election as Assin North constituency won’t be easy ground for them. Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu and his team declare the Assin Constituency “NO GO AREA” for NPP.
