EGUASE CHIEF COMMENDS NPP GOVT FOR COMPLETING PROJECT INITIATED BY NDC GOVT
The Chief of Eguase, Nana Kwame Kurabo V, a farming community in the Mfantseman Municipality in the Central Region has commended government for completing a Community-Based Planning and Services (CHPS) initiated by NDC government. Nana Kurabo V the bane of Ghana’s development is as a result of failure on the part of successive political leaders to complete projects started by their predecessors. Nana has appealed that political leaders should endeavor to complete all projects started by previous government to ensure value for money. He gave the commendation when they commissioned a CHPS Compound for the people of Eguase.
Eguase citizens who spoke to Adom News Team shared the challenges they go through to seek medical care. According to them, seeking medical care has not been easy coupled with poor road network. They had to send their sick relatives to Moree, Cape Coast Municipal or Cape Coast Teaching Hospital before they can receive medical care. They were happy and have expressed their gratitude by commending both NDC and NPP government for initiating and completing the project.
The Member of Parliament who pledged to provide the facility with medical equipment said NPP government made a promise to complete their clinic for them as it was a major need the chief put before them. NPP government has prioritized health care. He finally appealed to them not to allow partisan activities to divide the country. The commissioning of Eguase CHPS Compound is an attestation of fulfilling promised made to the people of Eguase. He urged them to patronize the facility since the health directorate has made provision for visiting doctor to attend to their health care needs.
